Collaborations
Over the years Ralph has collaborated with many others to produce original work. In recent years this has been focussed in the voluntary sectors, his last play "Who Is Leonard Jones?" was produced in association with Age Concern Colchester, and the current writing project "Echoes Beyond The Door" is centred clearly in the area of dementia and the various parties involved.
Additionally, Ralph is also currently collaborating with performance artist and comedian Edsel Kragg on some musical ideas. As Ralph explains, "Edsel and I briefly worked together in 1979 when we were both members of Causes Theatre Company. We had not seen each other for nearly thirty years, when a mutual friend reintroduced us after an alternative comedy event in which Edsel appeared as a cardboard box! We thought it would be fun to spend a little time renewing our friendship. We are just exploring ideas together; there are no plans to formalise these at present."
Edsel Kragg
Edsel Kragg is a very private person; indeed his humour is rooted in anonymity and wears a mask on stage to disguise his identity. Edsel's career history is also equally enigmatic; all he is prepared to reveal is that he originally trained as an artist and art teacher before becoming an actor in the early 1970's. Edsel's first appearance in disguise as a comedian at a public venue, (under a different name), occurred in 1998.

As a mark of this collaboration Ralph is at present accompanying Edsel on a short charity tour of the South of England, although he will not be appearing at all venues.
