      The Headgate Theatre, Colchester

The Headgate Theatre, is a community theatre in the truest sense of the word.   It is the result of many years of intense commitment and labour by a small group of local people with a real interest in creating and maintaining  an intimate theatre for use by both amateur  companies and professionals in the area.    Staffed by volunteers the theatre also runs an acting company, a musical project ("Acoustic City"),  and artists of international reputation regularly appear at the venue.    Ralph is proud to have had the opporunity to stage the premiere of "Who Is Leonard Jones?" at the theatre.
